Other applications include the Automated Proxy Voting system, Derivatives, Broker Commission Maintenance, and Fixed Income Research etc.
 

Role:

Ø      Worked on enhancements to the Cash Notification System.

Ø      Created LotusScript and Java agents to store and retrieve data from SQL Server.

Ø      Extensively used AJAX and Javascript to display dynamic data.

Ø      Created and modified many stored procedures to update and retrieve data from SQL Server databases.

Ø      Modified the Approval Cycle workflow to remove bottlenecks in the process.

Project: Contract Generation.

The MCTSX application tracks the changes and approvals of the different Variances, MBS, and Special Requirements etc to any contract. The Contract Generation application updates the standard contract documents with data extracted from the xml files received from MCTSX and the associated legal text and attachments. After the relevant contract documents are created, they are merged and converted into one PDF document. The system also creates bookmarks for the final PDF contract.
In order to facilitate a smooth transition from Notes to Oracle, the data from the Rich Text fields has been exported into a new Notes database as rtf attachments.
 

Role:

Ø      Responsible for the architecture conceptualization and redesign of the application.

Ø      Converted the existing Lotus Notes agent, Java application and VB application into one seamless Lotus Notes agent to handle the contract generation process.

Ø      Eliminated/resolved all outstanding issues pending for the past 5 years with an improved design and error handling process.

Ø      Redesigned the contract generation process to reduce the processing time from around 60 minutes to around 10 minutes per contract.

Ø      Created the agent that handles the contract generation process that updates rtf contract templates with the xml data and merges rtf templates, legal text and attachments into one final pdf document.

Ø      Created agents that extract data from Notes rich text fields and convert to rtf format using DXL.

Ø      Created agents that convert xls, htm, msg and ppt attachments to pdf format using PdfCreator.

Ø      Implemented extensive logging, failure notifications and additional support mechanism for the Production Support team.

Ø      Providing secondary support to the support team for production issues.

Ø      Analyzed various databases for migration to Lotus Notes version 8.5.
